Eva Green

Biography
Eva Green
Born on July 5, 1980, in Paris, France, Eva already had a foot in showbiz because her mother is well-known French actress Marlene Jobert. Jobert didn't want Eva to be an actress, however, saying the business would be too rough on her thin-skinned daughter.
Fortunately, Eva didn't listen to her mother's advice, and we eventually got to see some of that skin. She studied her craft for several years in Paris and London before making her film debut in 2003 in The Dreamers. Eva described the movie as being "about a twin sister and brother who have a passionate, almost incestuous relationship." She appeared completely nude in this flick. At first, she wasn't comfortable with the idea of baring it all, but once she started doing the scenes sans clothing, it was pretty much business as usual.
Her second big-screen role was as Clarisse in the French film Arsene Lupin, in which she appeared alongside Romain Duris and Kristin Scott Thomas.
In early 2005, she portrayed Sibylla in Kingdom of Heaven, co-starring Liam Neeson and Orlando Bloom.
Eva passed on the chance to be in Brian De Palma's The Black Dahlia (2006), featuring Josh Hartnett and Scarlett Johansson, but was later cast in the biggest role of her career -- the British treasury agent Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale (2006), alongside Daniel Craig.
